Dr. Tosin Ajayi-Sotubo

Dr. Tosin Ajayi-Sotubo is a Medical Doctor (General Practitioner) with over a decade of clinical experience across both the NHS and private health sectors, specializing in Women’s Health. Her diverse roles include being a HealthTech advisor, health educator, and speaker, driven by her passion for spreading health awareness. She founded an online platform to share her career journey and create an accessible space for educating and inspiring people to take charge of their health.

Dr. Tosin has a significant media presence, having worked as a TV doctor and a resident doctor on the popular show “Embarrassing Bodies.” Her expertise has been featured in various publications, and she has spoken on numerous prominent platforms. She aims to improve global healthcare quality while educating and empowering people.

Selected as a UK NHS Clinical Entrepreneur in 2019, Dr. Tosin focuses on the intersection of healthcare delivery and technology. She has extensive experience in the HealthTech sector, working with digital health startups to enhance Women’s Health outcomes. Currently, she serves as a Senior Medical Advisor for a leading FemTech company and is an advisory mentor for FemTech Lab, an accelerator program for early-stage FemTech founders.

Dr. Tosin’s commitment to addressing health inequalities is evident in her commissioned work by the Royal College of Physicians on improving access to primary care for BAME communities. She was also a 2023 delegate to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW 67).

In addition to her professional roles, Dr. Tosin serves as a Non-Executive Director for The Body Happy Organisation, a social enterprise dedicated to promoting positive body image in children and young people—a cause close to her heart.
