He has hiked across the rugged landscapes of Argentina and Norway, and has undertaken the extraordinary feat of cycling the length, kayaking the width, and climbing the height of the UK non-stop. His passion for adventure has made him a public advocate for its benefits, and he is a proud fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.

In addition to his adventurous pursuits, James is a committed ambassador for the mental health charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably), working to combat the staggering statistic of 125 lives lost to suicide each week.
