Tamsin Edwards was a Lead Author of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Sixth Assessment Report published in 2021.

Tamsin Edwards regularly provides expert advice on climate science to the public, policymakers, media and businesses, and is currently the first Parliamentary Thematic Research Lead for Climate & Environment, advising the UK Parliament on research evidence to better inform scrutiny, legislation and debate.

She is an award-winning communicator, including through Twitter (@flimsin), her blog for the Public Library of Science, PLoS (All Models Are Wrong) and articles for The Guardian. Tamsin also co-presented the BBC Radio 4 series “39 Ways to Save the Planet”.

Tamsin regularly appears on various news outlets as an expert commentator for climate related news stories, included BBC News at 10, ITV News, BBC R4 Today Programme.

Tamsin Edward’s research accompanied by her teaching role at King’s College London, makes her a hugely engaging and informative speaker.  She can draw from a wide range of research within her field of climate science and the environment and, as such, you will leave the auditorium feeling better informed, enlivened to join the debate and also more equipped to question your own and others’ pre-existing beliefs.
