About Fern Brady
Fern Brady, born in Bathgate, West Lothian, began her career with a Bachelor of Arts in Arabic and Islamic History from the University of Edinburgh. Initially setting her sights on journalism, she pursued training in the field and took on an internship with Fest Magazine, a free publication focused on covering the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. It was during this internship that she was assigned to write an article about a comedy critic trying stand-up for the first time. This experience proved transformative, as it ignited Brady’s passion for comedy and sparked her decision to pursue a career in stand-up.
