About Jen Brister
Jen Brister is a critically acclaimed stand-up comedian, writer, and actor, known for her sharp wit and honest storytelling. She is a regular on both the UK and international comedy circuits, having performed her unique brand of comedy across the globe. Jen has made notable appearances on popular TV shows such as Live at the Apollo, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, QI, and Mock the Week, showcasing her bold, no-nonsense style to a wide audience.
Her writing and broadcasting credentials are equally impressive. Jen has written for BBC Scotland and has been a presenter on BBC 6 Music and Juice FM. She regularly contributes to well-known publications and platforms including Diva, g3, Standard Issue, and The Huffington Post, often focusing on themes around identity, parenting, and social issues.
Jen has written and performed seven successful solo shows, which have been featured in prestigious festivals like the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Edinburgh Festival, Adelaide Festival, and Comedy Club Asia. She has also toured with comedy talents such as Kerry Godliman, Roisin Conaty, Francesca Martinez, and Frankie Boyle.
