Jeremy’s academic background includes degrees from the University of Sheffield and the University of Cambridge. His professional journey began in 1992 as Marketing Director at L’Oréal, where he successfully relaunched the “Because I’m worth it” slogan. In 1997, he moved to Coca-Cola as Director of Innovation and Marketing, where he developed Coke Black, which later evolved into Coca-Cola Zero, a product that has since become a $5 billion success.
In 2002, Jeremy took on the role of Director of Brand Marketing at Sainsbury’s, where he reversed a decade of declining sales, achieving a 5% sales increase in 2005 and setting the foundation for ongoing growth and six million new customers. As CEO of The Sauce Co., he led the company to win prestigious awards such as Best New Supermarket Brand and Best Chilled Soup.
Returning to L’Oréal as Managing Director, Jeremy propelled the company to become the leading cosmetic brand in the UK. At The Body Shop, he launched the Enrich Not Exploit campaign, advancing sustainability by producing vegan products, supporting indigenous communities, and protecting rainforests. This initiative earned The Body Shop the World Retail Awards for Responsible Retailer. In 2018, as Joint CEO of Pandora, he oversaw a £145 million cost-saving program and boosted sales.
Currently, Jeremy holds influential roles, including Chairman of Sustainability and Inclusion at Kantar, Senior Advisor for McKinsey Business Transformation, and Non-Executive Director of Revolution Beauty.
