About Kimberley Walsh
Kimberley Walsh is a versatile entertainer known for her impressive ability to juggle multiple roles. Over recent years, she has reached the finals of Strictly Come Dancing, authored her autobiography, released a debut solo album, starred in West End musicals, presented TV shows, and performed in sold-out arenas nationwide.
Kimberley first gained fame as a member of the record-breaking girl band Girls Aloud. During their ten-year tenure, the group achieved twenty consecutive top ten singles in the UK, including four number ones, and was named the UK’s biggest selling girl group of the 21st century with over 4.3 million single sales and 4 million albums sold. Their accolades include the 2009 BRIT Award for Best Single for “The Promise.”
Following the disbandment of Girls Aloud, Kimberley flourished across various entertainment fields. As a TV presenter, she co-hosted Channel 5’s Strictly: Before They Were Stars, guest presented on Lorraine and Loose Women, and held a style segment on ITV’s This Morning. She co-presented Viva’s Suck My Pop, fronted the Sky1 documentary Blue Jean, and presented live events such as The BAFTAs and The X Factor. She also voiced series two of Channel 5’s One Night with My Ex.
In 2012, Kimberley competed in Strictly Come Dancing’s tenth series, finishing as runner-up with three perfect 40 scores. She returned for the 2017 Strictly Christmas Special, receiving the highest score from all judges. Her debut solo album, Centre Stage, features collaborations with artists like Alfie Boe, Ne-Yo, Ronan Keating, and Jamie Cullum. In 2018, she performed a solo show at London’s Crazy Coqs and headlined the Christmas Spectacular at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
As an actress, Kimberley starred in Disney’s The Lodge and appeared in children’s films Horrid Henry and All Stars. She portrayed Claire Butterworth in Channel 4’s Ackley Bridge and has been a regular on the West End stage, with notable roles in Shrek The Musical, Elf the Musical, Sweet Charity, Big The Musical, and Sleepless at the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre.
Kimberley is a proud mother to sons Bobby and Cole and recently launched Kimba Kids, a children’s clothing line.
