Lara Ricote

Lara Ricote is a dynamic Mexican-American-Venezuelan stand-up comedian and writer whose debut show, GRL/LATNX/DEF, won the prestigious Best Newcomer Award at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She also claimed the 2021 Funny Women Stage Award, solidifying her reputation as one of comedy’s most exciting new voices. Since breaking into the UK comedy scene in 2021, Lara has appeared on popular British television programs like Mel Giedroyc’s Unforgivable, Question Team, QI, Alan Davies’ As Yet Untitled, and Live at the Apollo.
