About Harriet Dyer
Since becoming a full-time comedian in 2013, Harriet has performed extensively, including several solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe. Her critically acclaimed show “Trigger Warning” was filmed and released by NextUp Comedy. She continues to tour comedy clubs and festivals across the UK, sharing her unique blend of humour and personal insights.
A passionate mental health advocate, Harriet has openly discussed her experience living with bipolar disorder. She created “Barking Tales,” a monthly mental health-themed comedy night, offering a safe space for audiences and performers to explore mental health topics through comedy.
In addition to her stand-up work, Harriet has contributed as a writer to shows like “Jon & Lucy’s Odd Couples,” “Channel Hopping with Jon Richardson,” and “Meet The Richardsons.” She has also ventured into podcasting, hosting “Barking Tales” and co-hosting “I Don’t Normally Find Women Funny” with Anna Thomas. Currently, she co-hosts the “Make Me Happy” podcast with Louise Young and has made guest appearances on popular podcasts such as “Stompcast,” “Drunk Women Solving Crime,” and “RHLSTP with Richard Herring.”
