Joe helped to keep spirits high by becoming the ‘Nation’s PE Teacher’ during the 2020 lockdown. Every weekday, Joe delivered remote ‘PE’ sessions to children and adults alike cementing his position as a national treasure. Through his daily live workouts, Joe has raised over £550,000 for the NHS as well as breaking a Guinness World Record after one of his ‘PE’ classes was watched live by 955,000 people on YouTube. Joe Wicks was awarded an MBE in October 2020 for his work during the pandemic.

Joe’s debut book ‘Lean in 15’ was released on December 28th 2015 and went straight to the top of the charts and holds the record for the biggest first week sales of a debut cookbook of all time and is now sitting behind Jamie Oliver as the 2nd best-selling cookbook of all time. In July 2016, ‘Lean in 15’ held the title as the single most ordered item on Amazon UK.

Joe’s follow up book, Lean in 15: The Shape Plan, was released on June 16th and went straight to the top of the charts, selling more than 53,000 copies more than its closest rival that week. The trilogy was completed in November 2016 with the release of Lean in 15: The Sustain Plan, which also went straight to number 1 in the book charts.

The number 1 successes continued with ‘The Fat Loss Plan’ in December 2017, ’30 Minute Meals’ in September 2018, ‘Veggie Lean in 15’ in December 2018 and Including his newest book ‘Joe’s Family Food’ 2021. Joe now has 10 best-selling books.

His books have been translated into 18 languages and his first book alone sold over 1 million copies in its first year. Joe has hosted his own Channel 4 series, broke a Guinness World Record and has won the nation over with his Lean in 15 recipes, online plan and free fitness videos.

Joe has now released his first ever children’s book ‘The Burpee Bears’ which is out 30th September.
